Bored to death
One of the best comedy shows around has just been commissioned for a third season. HBO's Bored to Death is going to back hopefully for September. The show is about a neurotic novelist turned private detective, his comic book writing best friend and his pot smoking editor. He solves the oddest of cases which he acquires of Craigslist. David Schwatzman plays the leading role, who some may find slightly anoying but I have grown to love.
East bound and down
The most cringworthy show I have ever watched. It features a down and out baseball player who shines arrogance and ignorance. He goes by the name of Kenny Powers. I managed to burn through the first two seasons where you watch him become a gym a teacher in his home town to reclaim his high school love. In the secound season he ends up playing in the Mexican baseball leauge. A heavy amount of boozing and drug use and other debauchery makes this one of the most ridiculous programs that continues to be hillarious.
